Pizza

The PIZZA! We used Jamie Oliver’s Wood Fired Pizza dough recipe – you can find here.  Because you can’t really go wrong with Jamie Oliver right? It was super easy and we had way too much.   This recipe  easily caters for  6 adults and a bunch of kids.  Keep the bases thin prior to popping your toppings on.We just have a bunch of bowls of bits and pieces so everyone can make their own.     [EDIT] – So we’ve had our cob oven for 6 months.    One thing we have found works really well is once you make the dough (and it’s been left to rise and then battered down again)  – leave the step about preparing all the bases.  We just take the big dough ball out to the oven and pull of pieces and roll them there and then as we go.

We also roll up the edges to create a little puffy edge.
